Maximum pressure works. Expanding sanctions on Iran's shadow fleet and missile networks while deploying overwhelming military force gives America the leverage needed to prevent the world's worst regime from obtaining nuclear weapons. Diplomacy only succeeds when backed by credible strength, and Iran must understand that continued defiance will be met with decisive action.
Threatening war while demanding impossible concessions repeats the catastrophic mistakes of the Iraq invasion. Military buildup without coherent justification or post-conflict planning risks another Middle East disaster. A fair diplomatic deal is within reach if Washington abandons maximalist demands and recognizes Iran's right to peaceful nuclear energy.
