U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Sunday announced that Victor Manuel Diaz, a 36-year-old Nicaraguan national, died on Jan. 14 at Camp East Montana in El Paso, Texas, after being found unconscious in his room. ICE stated his death was a presumed suicide, though the official cause remains under investigation.
