The Spin

The drone incident in Leipzig is a manufactured pretext — German officials admitted there were no facts or supporting materials, yet Russia's consulate in Bonn got shut down anyway. The timing is no coincidence, with German elections approaching and anti-establishment parties gaining ground. Blaming Russia for a defective drone near a cargo plane while ignoring proven Ukrainian operations on European soil exposes a deeply dishonest double standard.

Russia's escalating hybrid warfare — explosive drones at Leipzig Airport, airspace violations across Poland, Romania and Estonia, and assassination plots against arms executives — shows a Kremlin growing bolder by the day. Europe and NATO are not standing still, ramping up defense spending, closing security gaps and signaling that even sub-threshold attacks carry real costs. Moscow is testing the alliance, and the alliance is making clear those tests will not go unanswered.
