On Wednesday, the U.K. enacted a new rule requiring visitors from 85 countries — including the United States, Canada and France — to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorisation before traveling to the country. An ETA costs £16 ($22), permits multiple journeys and lasts for two years or until the traveler's passport expires, whichever comes first.
