Is Ghost Murmur a revolutionary lifesaving CIA tool or an impossible fabrication that defies the laws of physics?

The Spin

Pro-establishment narrative

Ghost Murmur is a game-changing tool that just proved its worth in the most dramatic way possible. Thanks to the remarkable work of Lockheed's secretive research team, a downed airman hiding in the mountains of Iran was brought home safely. With quantum magnetometry and AI to detect a human heartbeat from miles away, and in the roughest of terrain, this is exactly the kind of technological edge that keeps American service members safe.

Establishment-critical narrative

Ghost Murmur is almost certainly a fabrication. The physics of cardiac magnetic signals make detection from 40 miles away physically impossible, with the signal decaying to two quintillion times weaker than what sensors can barely read at chest contact. The Pentagon's own quantum sensor program launched just months earlier with the modest goal of keeping a sensor functional during a helicopter flight. The airman's standard-issue radio beacon almost certainly did the real work.
