Pro-establishment narrative

Iran's rulers executed a deliberate state policy to shoot unarmed people demanding dignity, and the orders came from the top of the chain of command. Kurdish and Baluchi communities were hunted at rates far beyond their share of the population, and grieving families were punished for asking questions. A justice system owned by the same men who gave the orders will never deliver accountability, so the U.N. General Assembly must build an international mechanism now.

Establishment-critical narrative

Amnesty's outrage runs on a schedule set in Washington, ramping up against governments the empire wants toppled while genocide in Gaza gets thin statements and polite letters addressed to generals. Israeli atrocities are merely to be "investigated," yet crimes by U.S. adversaries are announced as settled fact and rushed toward tribunals. A human rights brand that grades regimes by their standing with the U.S. State Department isn't pursuing justice.
