Despite advances improving safety and equality for the trans community, discrimination persists and has intensified through recent political discourse. Numerous legal and legislative advancements have been made at the state and federal level affirming constitutional protections, yet restrictive pushback continues to deny American minors — and adults alike — the care and tolerance they deserve. This rollback of protections marginalizes vulnerable populations and contradicts medical consensus supporting gender-affirming care as evidence-based treatment.
Transgender ideology denies basic biology — there are only two sexes, and no amount of wishing or surgery changes that reality. Allowing biological males into women's sports and shelters isn't fairness, it's destroying opportunities and safety for real women. Even worse, we're subjecting children to irreversible medical experiments: puberty blockers and hormones for minors are child abuse, plain and simple. Adults can do what they want in private, but the government shouldn't force the rest of us to pretend along or fund this madness through taxes.
There's a 17.5% chance that an openly LGBTQ person will be elected president of the United States by 2041, according to the Metaculus prediction community.
