Pierre Friedlingstein is Chair in Mathematical Modelling of Climate Systems at the University of Exeter and a leading climate scientist specializing in the carbon cycle and Earth system modeling. He chairs the Global Carbon Project, which produces the annual Global Carbon Budget assessment tracking global CO2 emissions and their fate in the atmosphere, ocean, and land.
