Jessica Chen Weiss

Jessica Chen Weiss is a professor of government at Cornell University and former senior advisor for China policy at the U.S. State Department (2021-2022). A leading expert on U.S.-China relations and Chinese foreign policy, she has authored extensively on nationalism, diplomacy, and East Asian security issues. She previously served on the National Security Council staff.
