Trump is right to protect glyphosate-based herbicides, which are absolutely essential to American agriculture and national security. These crop protection tools allow farmers to maintain high yields and low production costs, keeping food affordable for families across the country. Ensuring domestic production of glyphosate protects the nation from supply chain vulnerabilities and strengthens food security.
Trump is betraying the MAHA movement. There's no glyphosate ban or shortage. Bayer keeps proposing settlements because overwhelming evidence shows glyphosate causes non-Hodgkin lymphoma, yet now it has received immunity instead of accountability. It continues to seem that the chemical lobby, which poisons the U.S. food system, controls Washington. This order must be reversed.
