Homan touts cameras as proof of accountability, but the ICE officers at the fatal shootings in Maine and Houston lacked functioning body cameras despite the agency spending millions on equipment— the cameras worn were disabled due to a contract dispute with Axon. An administration that pushed to slash this program's funding before reversing course only after fatal shootings isn't "moving fast." It's playing catch-up to a crisis it helped create, and touting a fix for a problem it spent months underfunding.
