The Spin

Left narrative

The U.S. ambassador's dismissal of South African court rulings represents colonial-era arrogance and blatant disrespect for the country's sovereignty. His statement, "I don't care what your courts say" undermines an independent judiciary and violates the Vienna Convention's requirement that diplomats respect local laws and avoid interfering in internal affairs. This condescending bullying from a representative of Trump's xenophobic administration demands immediate accountability through a demarche at a minimum.

Right narrative

Ambassador Bozell exposed the grotesque reality that South Africa legally shields a chant explicitly calling for racial murder, while any other civilized nation would prosecute it as criminal incitement. The "Kill the Boer" slogan fails basic hate speech standards worldwide and targets White farmers enduring brutal torture and murder. Courts protecting this poison as a "historical expression" created an indefensible legal monstrosity that the ANC desperately hides behind.
