The Spin

Pro-establishment narrative

The Kremlin banned Yabloko in order to crush the only party demanding peace and freedom in Russia. This move shows pure fear of a platform that connects with voters wanting an end to the Ukraine conflict. Banning the party proves that authorities cannot handle real opposition.

Pro-Russia narrative

Yabloko was removed from the ballot for taking foreign cash from the U.S. and Germany, as well as breaking other campaign finance laws. The party also violated copyright rules and pushed extremist ideas that undermine cohesion in Russian society. This decision keeps elections clean and fair.
