The Spin

Anti-Trump narrative

Nearly $40 billion burned on an illegal war nobody in Congress approved, and the bill keeps climbing by billions every month. Gas is over $4 a gallon, diesel topped $6, inflation jumped to 3.4% and munitions stockpiles will take five years to refill. A war promised to last a few weeks has become a vanity project paid for at the pump and the grocery store.

Pro-Trump narrative

This is the first administration with the nerve to deal with Iran and its nuclear program. The regime's air defenses are shredded, its nuclear program set back a decade, its proxies gutted and the blockade plus sanctions are asphyxiating its economy. Compare that to two decades and $5 trillion wasted on nation-building, and $40 billion looks like a bargain.
