The Spin

Foreign mercenaries and weapons networks are directly fueling RSF war crimes in Sudan, with up to 2,000 Colombian contractors operating drones alongside RSF units and UAE-linked entities supplying weapons, logistics and personnel. The RSF's assault on el-Fasher bears hallmarks of genocide, and an international court has already convicted RSF leadership of war crimes. This isn't peripheral — external pipelines are the engine of Sudan's atrocities.

Pinning Sudan's carnage solely on RSF backers ignores that the SAF is equally armed by Iran, Russia and Turkey — and equally killing civilians with drones, thermobaric strikes and deliberate starvation. Iran's Mohajer-6 drones and Russian rifles are flowing to the SAF just as freely as UAE support flows to the RSF. Selective outrage without equal accountability for both sides guarantees this war never ends.
