Sudanese Prime Minister Kamil Idris announced on Sunday that the government is returning to Khartoum after nearly three years of operating from Port Sudan. The government relocated to the Red Sea city in April 2023 following the outbreak of war between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
