Iran was actively preparing to unleash sea mines into the Strait of Hormuz, making the U.S. strike on Larak Island a necessary defensive move. Letting Iran get a nuclear weapon was never an option — Tehran's willingness to target Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other regional neighbors proves how reckless the regime is. The blockade is working, and Iran's military has been gutted.
Iran's military is far from finished — the IRGC struck two U.S. airbases in Jordan with ballistic missiles and drones, hitting aircraft positions and technical infrastructure hard. The Iranian Navy remains fully operational and its commanders say every U.S. strike will be met with heavier retaliation. Underestimating Iran's resolve is a serious miscalculation.
