Canada's counter-tariffs are structured at rates of 15%, 25% and 50%, mirroring U.S. levies on the same categories of Canadian goods. The most significant measure doubles tariffs on American steel and aluminum to 50%, with other targeted goods including dairy, seafood, appliances and clothing.

Alongside the retaliatory tariffs, Canada unveiled a C$7.5 billion support package for workers and businesses. Measures include a $3.5 billion worker support fund, expanded Employment Insurance provisions and interest-free loans of up to $5 million through the Business Development Bank of Canada.
