Hegseth's press crackdown is a blatant power grab dressed up as security policy —and restricting reporters from doing anything but repeating what officials approve is authoritarianism, plain and simple. Over 100 Pentagon reporters walked flat-out rather than sign a 21-page pledge that would've made them government mouthpiecesauthoritarianism.
