The Spin

An ICE agent brazenly attempted to force entry into Ecuador's consulate in Minneapolis, violating international law and the Vienna Conventions that protect diplomatic premises. Ecuador rightfully filed a formal protest demanding such aggressive violations never happen again at any of its consular offices. This dangerous escalation of unchecked ICE aggression threatens diplomatic norms and puts vulnerable people seeking consular services at risk.

Ecuador transformed its Minneapolis consulate into a criminal safe house, sheltering illegal aliens on American soil while federal agents work to apprehend violent felons. Minnesota has become ground zero for massive welfare fraud orchestrated through immigrant networks, yet Democrat officials obstruct ICE from enforcing the law. Diplomatic immunity doesn't extend to harboring criminals who are stealing billions from taxpayers.

Metaculus Prediction

There's a 25% and 37%, chance, respectively, that U.S. authorities will transfer any current or former U.S. citizen to a prison abroad in 2025-2026 and 2027-2028, according to the Metaculus prediction community.
