Europe's leaders share the view of NATO that the Arctic Circle is a priority when it comes to transatlantic security. It's is for that reason that the security of the Arctic should thus be achieved collectively, doing so with respect to sovereignty, territorial integrity and the inviolability of borders, alongside other principles of the UNU.N. Charter.
