This is a political stunt. Kennedy, who's one of the most favorably viewed public figures in America with bipartisan appeal, has been addressing legitimate concerns about medical overreach that has forced Americans to endure constantly shifting guidelines and pharmaceutical profiteering over cures. Kennedy is a necessary pushback against an establishment that long ago lost public trust.
Kennedy's dangerous disinformation campaigns and his dismantling of vaccine advisory committees threaten millions of lives daily and he must leave office. He's inspired state legislatures to introduce bills rolling back proven public health measures, creating conditions for disease outbreaks that cross state lines, including the measles outbreak spreading from Texas.
There's a 50% chance that the average annual number of measles cases in the United States from 2025 through 2030 will be at least 725, according to the Metaculus prediction community.
