The Spin

The RSF's capture of El Fasher represents a crucial step toward Sudanese unity, not division. Commander Hemedti has immediately established accountability measures with independent legal committees investigating any violations and promising swift justice for wrongdoers. Military forces are withdrawing to allow civilian police control while engineering teams clear dangerous ordnance to enable displaced residents' safe return.

The fall of El Fasher has unleashed a genocidal massacre with satellite imagery showing blood pools visible from space and thousands of corpses littering the streets. The RSF, descended from the notorious Janjaweed militia, has executed patients in hospitals and civilians fleeing the city while UAE backing enables these war crimes to continue unchecked by international intervention.
