The Spin

This shooting exposes America's dire gun violence crisis. Even heavily guarded military bases, let alone schools and universities, remain vulnerable to senseless acts of violence. With nearly 47,000 gun-related deaths in 2023, these tragedies demand urgent legislative action — stricter gun laws and bans on devices like Glock switches — to protect Americans.

Anti-gun liberals selectively highlight shootings when perpetrators fit their narrative — conservatives or white men — ignoring cases like Fort Stewart, where a registered Democrat shot five soldiers. Their so-called "common-sense" gun laws, like background checks, also fail to stop criminals, stripping law-abiding citizens of their ability to defend themselves against criminals who ignore the law.
