U.S. Central Command and regional partners opened the Middle Eastern Air Defense – Combined Defense Operations Cell (MEAD-CDOC) at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar on Tuesday. The cell is located within the Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC), which has operated for over 20 years.
