U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials have received access to personal data of 79 million Medicaid enrollees — including home addresses, ethnicities, birth dates, and Social Security numbers — through an agreement signed this week between the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
