The injunction on the Chagos Islands deal is a vital pause in a disgraceful handover of British territory. As Pompe and Dugasse's brave stand proves, this smoke and mirrors deal ignores Chagossian voices and risks national security. The courts must uphold justice, not rubber-stamp diplomacy driven by reckless ideology.
