UFO drones are surveilling America’s most sensitive military sites — and the Pentagon says it can’t stop them

The drones, appearing in groups of up to a dozen or more, were first reported in December 2023 at Langley AFB, home to advanced F-22 Raptor fighter jets, and continued for 17 nights.

Military officials suspect potential involvement of foreign adversaries like Russia or China, but the origin and operators of these drones remain unknown.

Federal laws prohibit the military from shooting down the drones due to potential risks to troops and civilians, while signal jamming was ruled out over concerns of interfering with critical systems.

In January 2024, a Chinese national was arrested for flying a drone near Langley AFB and photographing Navy ships, marking the first espionage case involving a drone.

The incidents have reached high levels of government, with President Biden participating in White House meetings to address the issue, involving various agencies including the Defense Department and FBI.

The drone sightings might be exaggerated or misinterpreted. Without concrete evidence of foreign involvement, it's premature to assume malicious intent. These could be harmless civilian drones or even misidentified natural phenomena. Overreacting could lead to unnecessary tensions with other nations.
