It is apparent that AI is developing at breakneck speed and that we need to think long and hard about keeping us safe from it.

Being the first company to launch mass-market AI products, they have had the time and experience required to fine-tune their products and keep up with concerns in the real world. Instead of focusing on sci-fi dreams of a hypothetical superintelligent system, OpenAI remains committed to keeping us safe in the real world.
