According to US intelligence sources, Iran could attack Israel soil in the north or south as soon as Friday or Saturday, with US government employees advised not to travel outside central Israel, Jerusalem, and Beersheba.

As Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Israel is "prepared to meet all of [its] security needs," the US commander of operations in the Middle East, Gen. Erik Kurilla, travelled to the country "due to recent developments."
