Daniel Bendisi Kokotajlo is an artificial intelligence researcher who worked in the governance division of OpenAI from 2022 to 2024, resigning and forfeiting equity over concerns about AI safety practices at the organization. He currently leads the AI Futures Project, an initiative focused on AI risk and safety research.
