Nahid Islam is a Bangladeshi politician and activist, and the founding convener of the National Citizen Party. He played a central role as the key coordinator of the Students Against Discrimination movement, which led the July Revolution and ultimately led to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s resignation. He later served as an adviser to the Interim Government of Bangladesh from August 2024 to February 2025.
