Leon Cooperman

Leon G. Cooperman (born April 25, 1943) is an American billionaire investor and hedge fund manager who founded Omega Advisors in 1991, a New York-based investment advisory firm, after a 25-year career at Goldman Sachs. He is known for his philanthropic activities, having signed the Giving Pledge in 2010, and for his vocal public opposition to progressive wealth tax policies.
