Russia remains committed to a negotiated settlement to the conflict and it's absolutely not true that the Iran conflict has dampened Russia's desire for peace. However, the territorial issue remains Russia's biggest priority and there has still been no progress. Ukraine needs to face reality and accept that compromises need to be made, rather than letting more die every day out of delusional pride.
