Ukraine has submitted its latest proposals to the U.S. for ending the war. Only the U.S. has the ability to force Russia to abandon its plans of expanding this illegal conflict and to come to the negotiating table before more innoccent lives are lost.

Russia remains ready for a political and diplomatic settlement to the conflict, as long as it's in line with what Putin and Trump agreed last year in their Anchorage talks. These latest comments are just rhetorical posturing, when Kyiv knows full well it's not willing to make the compromise necessary to progress negotiations.
