Outlets that pump out fake news and spin every story into an attack have no claim on a seat inside the White House or to fly Air Force One. Access to the people's president is a privilege earned through honest reporting, not an entitlement handed to networks that treat the presidency as a target. Plenty of other reporters are eager to fill those seats and actually do the job.

Anti-Trump narrative

Turning press access into a reward for flattering coverage is textbook viewpoint discrimination, and the First Amendment exists for exactly this moment. Courts have said for decades that once government opens a press room, it cannot slam the door on journalists it doesn't like. Taxpayers end up footing the legal bill for a fight that never needed to happen for honest, independent reporting.
