Venezuela Releases Opposition Leader's Son-in-Law

Is this another example of systematic injustice in Venezuela or a fabricated opposition narrative?

The Spin

Pro-establishment narrative

This is merely the release of one political prisoner — this doesn't erase the systematic injustice that affects hundreds of Venezuelans and their families. It's urgent to free all of those unjustly detained without due process in the country. The regime could do it with a single phone call, but has so far refused to give that order.

Establishment-critical narrative

Venezuela's opposition is insisting on a fabricated disappearance narrative when the family knew his location and charges long ago. Additionally, they are now pushing false claims of extortion against those who actually helped secure the release of Tudares through diplomatic channels. This is a cynical political tactic that undermines genuine peace efforts.
