US Says Israel and Lebanon Extend Ceasefire for 45 Days

Thanks to U.S. diplomacy, Israel and Lebanon have agreed to a 45-day extension of the ceasefire. These talks between Israel and Lebanon were frank and constructive. There will be challenges as well as ups and downs ahead but the potential for success is great. What is paramount for Israel is the safety of its citizens and soldiers.
