The Spin

Narrative A

Ukraine can't afford a wartime election stunt while Russian missiles fall and a new offensive looms. Fedorov's reform record deserves respect, but the YouTube push offers no workable plan for soldiers, refugees or front-line voters and risks turning needed anti-corruption pressure into chaos.

Narrative B

Democracy should not stay frozen because Putin invaded. Fedorov is right to demand a legal, secure path to elections, especially after Zelenskyy sidelined popular rivals and fired a reformer fighting procurement rot. A free European Ukraine needs ballots, not endless martial-law politics.
