    The Spin

    Pro-government narrative

The IOPC's decision to investigate two Hampshire officers is exactly the accountability Nowak's family deserves. Officers handcuffed a dying stabbing victim while believing his killer's false story, and the watchdog is right to examine whether race or religion shaped that decision-making. Robust scrutiny like this is what keeps public trust in policing alive.

    Government-critical narrative

A dying White teenager told officers he'd been stabbed and couldn't breathe, and they told him he probably hadn't been stabbed, all while reassuring his killer. The IOPC investigation confirms what the bodycam footage already showed: anti-White bias shaped every decision made at that scene. Policing so warped by ideological training that it handcuffs victims instead of killers has lost all legitimacy.
