UK Bars 7 Foreigners From London Rally

Are Tommy Robinson's marches a dangerous threat to public safety or a legitimate exercise of free speech being suppressed by the government?

The Spin

Left narrative

Tommy Robinson's marches are organized thuggery dressed up as patriotism. Witnesses on the ground saw violence, hate and Islamophobia firsthand, making clear these events pose a real danger to public safety. A repeat offender with multiple prison stints leading a rampage through London streets is a law enforcement failure.

Right narrative

The U.K. government selectively banned multiple right-wing speakers from attending the Unite the Kingdom rally, a move that's purely political targeting dressed up as public safety. Borders stay open broadly, yet specific conservatives get barred for daring to speak at a lawful rally. Free speech either applies to everyone or it means nothing.
