The Spin

Pro-Trump narrative

The Board of Peace brings together world-class leaders and financial experts to succeed where the U.N. has failed for decades. Trump's pragmatic approach replaces bureaucratic paralysis with real accountability and serious capital commitments, aligning resources with responsibility to rebuild Gaza and pursue lasting stability in the Middle East and elsewhere.

Anti-Trump narrative

Trump's so-called Board of Peace is less a peace initiative than a power grab masquerading as diplomacy. It openly sidelines international law, concentrates authority in his own hands and turns global governance into a pay-to-play club. By inviting leaders to submit to his veto and whims, Trump isn't fixing a broken order — he's replacing it with personal rule.

Pro-Israel narrative

It's concerning that Israel has been excluded while representatives for Qatar and Turkey have been empowered, as this Gaza board composition risks recycling failure under a new label. As the Israeli government failed to present a feasible day-after plan, Israel is now being forced to cope with an untrustworthy international administration in Gaza.

Pro-Palestine narrative

This initiative is a corporate and political takeover, not a path for justice and Palestinian self-determination. Pro-Israel multibillionaire investors are positioned to shape Gaza’s reconstruction and capital flows, while Trump allies and warmongers steer strategy, sidestepping Palestinian leadership and failing to address occupation, accountability and the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe.
