Very good things are happening in Ukraine and Russia. President Trump is very optimistic about the prospects of reaching a peace agreement.
Anti-Russia narrative
Trump's claim that "very good things" are happening in Ukraine just proves how out of touch with reality he is. Just yesterday, Russia's forces deliberately struck a civilian train in Kharkiv. Zelenskyy rightly called it an act of terrorism. How can he be expected to make peace with Putin in these conditions?
Pro-Ukraine narrative
Working with its American counterparts, Ukrainian officials are identifying the areas that need more work before that work is done with maximum efficiency. We must achieve results as soon as possible and the teams are working very constructively.
Pro-Russia narrative
It's no secret that the issue of territory is the fundamental one from Russia's position. This is a challenging and complicated subject, but the mere fact that the talks are happening in the first place can be seen as a positive signal. Other than that, it would be inappropriate to say more in the public sphere.
