The Spin

Pro-Trump narrative

Trump is right to be disappointed with Pirro as National Park Service employees watched Hearn "forcefully and violently" pull the Reflecting Pool liner with both hands, damaging roughly two square feet. There is more than evidence to convict him and those that damage national monuments deserve to be prosecuted with the full strength of the law.

Anti-Trump narrative

Trump desperately wanted to bring these charges. But unfortunately for him, a court of law requires actual evidence to meet the burden of proof, which is why Pirro had no choice but to withdraw.
