The Spin

Democratic narrative

The Supreme Court's ruling upholding trans sports bans is a heartbreaking blow to transgender girls who simply want to compete like everyone else. Title IX was meant to protect against sex discrimination, yet the court has now narrowed it to exclude transgender athletes entirely. This decision doesn't solve a real problem — it manufactures one, sacrificing the dignity of trans kids for political points.

Republican narrative

Female sports categories exist because biological sex produces real, measurable athletic differences — and the Supreme Court finally said so clearly. Allowing biological males to compete in women's sports doesn't expand fairness, it dismantles the entire reason women's sports exist. The court's ruling sets the legal footing to protect female athletes from unfair competition, and that's a win grounded in biology.
