Is this a landmark moment for accountability or a flawed decision denied Trump justice?

The Spin

Anti-Trump narrative

This puts a definitive stamp on what a jury already decided unanimously — Trump sexually assaulted and defamed Carroll. There will be no more appeals, no more delays and the $5.6 million verdict is final and collectible. When the highest court in the land won't touch your challenge, the legal argument is over.

Pro-Trump narrative

It's ridiculous that SCOTUS won't hear this case, which was built on a decades-old accusation and almost no evidence. There never should have been a $5 million verdict because the trial judge stripped the defense of a fair shot. This verdict was political theater dressed up as justice and Trump was dealt a raw deal.
