This alleged assault story reeks of a Jussie Smollett-style hoax. The Sundance Film Festival is hardly a hotbed of MAGA support, yet Frost claims that he was randomly set upon by a Trump fan there. More damningly, the police refuse to release the attacker's name, which screams of a cover-up. After all, if this were really a racist Trump supporter, his identity would be plastered everywhere.

This heinous attack against a Democratic congressman is a testament to the toxic political climate Trump has created. By giving credence to their dark desires and repeating their extremist rhetoric, Trump has empowered and emboldened the racist elements within American society, which the justice system must now prosecute aggressively to subdue.
