Rep. Max Miller Faces Restraining Order, Abuse Claims

Miller has a documented pattern of violence stretching back decades but Republican leaders are shielding him anyway. Two women have accused him of domestic abuse, police records show prior assault charges and Johnson has brushed it all off as mere "allegations." Republicans don't say the same when it's a Democrat facing similar accusations, proving that protecting a congressional seat matters more to the GOP than protecting women.

Republicans are following due process through the House Ethics Committee, the same standard applied to members on both sides of the aisle. These accusations are troubling but voters should decide who represents them. Miller has denied every allegation and the courts haven't found him guilty of anything, so demanding resignation before a verdict would be political opportunism.
