The Spin

Narrative A

NBA expansion is a great idea. Seattle deserves its NBA team back, plain and simple and Las Vegas is the obvious second choice given the NBA's growing presence there. Adding two expansion teams means more markets, more fans and a long-overdue correction after the Sonics were wrongfully stripped from Seattle.

Narrative B

NBA expansion is a cash grab that shouldn't happen. The NBA already has too many weak teams dragging down the product, and expansion only makes that worse by diluting talent even further. Tanking is already a crisis, and adding two more franchises just gives more owners a reason to lose on purpose.
