The system has failed the Jewish community in Golders Green, and Britain's terror threat level rising to "severe" confirms this isn't an isolated failure but a systemic one.

Suleiman was charged with attempted murder, not terrorism offenses, yet politicians are exploiting the attack to crack down on pro-Palestine marches and brand protest slogans as calls for violence. The attacker had a psychiatric history and no verified connection to any organized group. Using Jewish pain to restrict civil liberties and silence legitimate dissent is a cynical political move that deserves to be called out.
